Thread: Paint scheme?

wadup wadup.... I'm going to be having a friend of mine paint my 200 in the near near future and I'm looking for a paint scheme. I am later having it professionally painted pearl orange but for now want to try another color. I was thinking of this scheme...




Spec V yellow with carbon fiber hood, trunk, and not sure on the black roof. Black wheels, lights etc..

suggestions? something else? was also thinking flat black.

I want to see another Semi Gloss black B14. My friend had one and it was evil looking.

iv seen a flat black RSX looks sweet, but a semi gloss paint would look awsome

If you're going to paint it orange (and really follow through with it) I say go as crazy as you want. The GTR you posted looks fun, not sure how it'll translate to a B14 but I think if you follow body lines and know what you're doing you could come out with something bitchin'.

You got the dough for the BBS wheels though? =D

Paint scheme.......I could go on for days! pearl orange with cf and black wheels would be nice! Im doing my G right now, and im going with black wheels, cf hood, trunk, and roof, with tinted windows. Painting some of the hood and trunk. For the color I went with PPG's "blue to red"

When I really get into it, and yes I will, the car will be...

Pearl orange with cf hood, trunk,and possibly roof. Brake lights blacked out with stealth headlights, black wheels with straight black windows, mid section between taillights black, 98 bumper with the little outined section painted black, already have my exhaust on the car ; full carbon fiber canister with full titanium blue tip angled up and to the right. Much much more but thats just the basics on the exterior for now. gonna do the same exact scheme but yellow first, pearl orange later. Oh and the pearl orange is more of a burnt orange....its not the flourescent-ish hue.

looks good! thought about a spoiler like that on my B14 before. Glad I got to see how ugly it is now :/ think its because the back of that car is soo high. An yways, seems like its been done quite a few times. Just makes me want to stick to my original plan

I still like it but I think I'm just to detail oriented and with that you can't see any details. I really want all my work to stand out.
