Cool though ... what size kit are you running?? What muffler do they use? What resonator do they use? (I cant tell if they use one of not)

No resonator, stock CAT. It sounds a little high pitched because of the camera, tbh It sounds really good in person, and other VRS owners can attest to that It's just a Magnaflow VRS catback exhaust system.

It was a 96 Integra LS/VTEC with a 35R at 9lbs of boost, and MUCH better tires. no traction until 4th as you could hear. He didn't dare run me on asphalt, though.

I would personally go with a Borla Exhaust and put a like a 20 in. resinator on it. Thats what i did and it sounds like a damn 6 cylinder.

Thats the same setup I make but on mine Im running a 18" long magnaflow cat. I guess that is the difference because happynole is testing a system for me right now and he is getting the same results you were so im sending him a resonator for comparison testing.

So the VRS system is $330 without a resonator? Mine is only $305 shipped to your door!!

I actually got mine a good deal cheaper I'm sure yours is just as good, though.

I thought about getting a resonator, but the turbo does a good job of quietening things down. I do need to get a better cat, though. I know it's not stock, but it sure looks stock. Thing that's wierd is that it has 3" inlet/outlet.

What is 3 in 3 out your muffler?

No, the catalytic converter. I thought it odd, being that I was pretty sure it was stock. It was mated to a 2.5" VRS catback, and Megan Racing header/downpipe when I bought the car.

When I first went turbo, I had a 3" VRS downpipe and bought the 3" catback exhaust. When installing the exhaust, I noticed that the diameter of the cat was the same as the 3" exhaust, which I found really funny. I honestly didn't think much about it, though. I just left it there and never did any additional research. I mean it looks STOCK stock. Still has the brackets for the heatshield and all, and the exterior look weathered as if it were on the car from the factory.

Weird but convenient since you were running a turbo. you know I had a request about a month ago to build a diverted manifold for the turbo SR's. Did they mean they wanted a dump pipe built in??

Not sure what they're talking about regarding diverted manifolds, but maybe they meant divided o2 housing? A lot of SR owners with internally gated turbines prefer a divided o2 housing to increase performance.

I think you'll be onto something if you do this. I know there was someone that was talking about a screamer pipe, but I don't know if they ever completed it or not?

and some sounds ...

Im also trying to set up a GB on it on the other site but Im having a little bit of delays

I do like how deep the exhaust sounds, but I would need something a lot quieter then that, otherwise my neighbors would hate me, especially driving into my garage haha.

Ill have to get some more videos up because this thing is quiet ... It is only loud at WOT. Give me some time and you can compare mine to the VRS kit.
