M1 is group 3 like almost all the other oils listed on this thread. Off the top of my head the group 4 (true synthetic) oil are RP, Redline, Enos, Amsoil, and German Castrol.

Mobil1 is still a good oil just way overpriced compared to other good oils on the market. I myself use walmart supetech filters and walmart supertech synthetic 5-30. It's group 3 just like M1. It's worked great for me and I've been running it for a long time now.

Royal Purple 10w30 with K&N oil filter. Perfect combination.

Valvoline 10w40 synthetic blend and Nissan 65f oil filter.

Eneos 0w20 or 0w50. I no longer use the OEM Nissan filter. Now using a Purolator PureOne filter.

Made the switch to Mobile 1 5w30 at 93660 miles. No leaking or burning oil.

i use mobil 7500, with oem filter, but i´ll change to full sintethic now that i´m boosted

Valvoline 5-30 Synthetic blend on all of my Japanese cars. No leak. Then maybe gradual into Castrol Synthetic.
