little update..ran a smoke test on the intake system yesterday. came out good, so no vacuum leaks

so, here's the thing. it saddens me greatly but, it's time for me to move on(:. i have no need, or time, for a third personal vehicle. 1 of the nicest b14's you'll come across is now up 4 sale . all the spare parts, EVERYTHING SE-R RELATED, goes. i'll be posting pics (if you haven't seen enough already) in a 4 sale thread.

drove the car a couple miles this past week and the friggin se-r bug bit me again............sonofabitch!
so, now that the NW weather has turned crappy, i have time for the man-cave.
running on more than a hunch of a vacuum leak, today i pulled the oem i/m, replaced the (twice) used lower i/m gasket with new and added a tiny bit of sealant to BOTH sides.
decided to use the $xcessive mani/custom cast runners/70mm Autech t/b$ combo again. but, this time i'm gonna use the iacv instead of the throttle plate for idle control. i drilled/tapped a hole for the barb fitting and rtv'd that bitch in there. there will be NO LEAKS !
plan on finishing everything Monday including oil/filter change and draining the radiator to add coolant/anti-freeze.
