Thread: Convention caravan thread ....

Ill just ridealong. Wife said i deserve some time since she always gets to go off for work. I could help with gas and stuff, i dont have much money as usual but i can give what i can skim together for room and stuff.

I have done the drive in 2 days before ......left on sunday and rolled in monday night @ 11pm .....stopping to sleep from midnight to 6am and eating when I got gas and using the rest room , I might be able to some of the gas on my taxes as a business exp. as I have to check on my rental out in MI ....



that is fine ....I may not take the truck though ...if I do I should have a open seat and it is super comfy

I know I just a need a bigger car hauler to haul more then one car out ....but that is not likley to happen anytime soon

Wish my car would be setup where I want it by then... I would go. Only 1778 miles from where I live in Utah...

Damn too bad y'all won't be passing in or around the NC area to go to the convention you guys seem like a fun bunch. I guess I'll set something up with the FL,GA,SC,NC and VA people if there's any on here that's going. 2012 convention or bust lol this will be my first one too.

i wish i could go.....just not gonna happen this year....new baby and i think the HG is going on the nx so theres less money i can save.....trying for next year

i've done the drive to Ohio 3 times. after the rockies its boring as hell. besides that, no cruise control= NO WAY
my in-laws are in Toledo, so the wifey would love to go. maybe i can convince a bro in-law or 2 to come and beat on their cars

I'd love to go but I'll probably be busy finishing up my MBA until June 15th. I've never been to a convention in 14 years w/ SRs. Always been off somewhere hung up either in school or working on the wrong side of the continent.

If things free up I'd love to glom onto your caravan Eric. Might rent a Dollie and pull the SE-R out w the Scoobie.
