yeah.. one hillclimb and one rally driver told to me this so its not from my head, but i will try to find this tranny and use 4.4 FD for my N14 (same as B13) tranny.

Yeah PAR that do the straight cut gearsets/dogboxs for the pulsars and do 4.4FD in helical and straight cut for the Australain boxes as a add on just there about $1200.
The whole thread was just to check there was no other cheaper/oem option/bolt in which there dosn't seem to be.

I'm still tossing around the idea of chucking a 4.85 from gccorp into my cammed DE w/ aussie gearset.
3rd is just too long to have any fun in!
I think the gap between 1st and second is the worst for the street, change from first at 8500 and you come back on at 5K, compared to 2-3rd and 3rd-4th where theyre all like 8K shift comes back in at 6K much closer!.
Ve handles 3rd gear alright but i remeber the de used to take it's time reving out in 3rd.
