I understand that but the thread had to do with building a 2.3L motor cheap. The crank part of the 2.3L motor was already out of the question.

This thread all came about because Mazwork said to me that their 90mm headgasket was only good up to 90mm. When I got the head gasket and started putting together my motor I found out that the gasket was 92mm which I informed them of this.

This bad information on the head gasket pissed me the hell of because the diffrence from a 90 to 92 mm piston is the same price. So they cost me a 2.4L VE. So when I found this out I made the post so that people would build 92mm 2.3L VEs instrad of 2.2 90mm VEs.

This shit still pisses me off to this date.

What part of that title does not indicate the cheap? Anyone? Really? You are gonna argue with me over the fact that i posted well at least you dont have to buy the $1500 crank to do the 2.3L build

You know what, to me, and to probably everyone else that looks at this thread, the fact that you can do a 2.3L build cheaper now because you can use 92mm pistons instead of 90mm pistons because of the headgasket being able to fit them rather than every other 2.3L build of the past, including yours, more money was spent because of the purchase of the stroker crank.

Thanks, end of story, thats how everyone else depicted it. So to hammer me saying the Crank was never anywhere in this thread is rediculous because Again the 2.3L build would have cost $1500 or more because having to purchase the stroker crank in the past.

So when you refer to building a 2.3L on the cheap thats exactly what everyone else thought as well. Not just me.

Dont argue back, because there is nothing to argue about. Plain and simple. Leave it alone.

Hmm I never thought the crank was a part of this thread. Idk why were bringing it up now. 2.3 for the same price as a 2.2 is on the cheap.

I was amused at you telling me what I can and can not do as far as arguing back.

So let me do it again

keep learning something new.

Im not arguing the fact that you can do the 2.3 for the same price as the 2.2. The fact is someone said it wasnt that cheap and i just said well at least you dont have to buy the crank anymore to do a 2.3L

So why hammer me on it. Whatever floats your boat i guess.

- I have no idea why the crank is being brought up either. 92x86/(stock crank) = cheap budget build to get a 240-250WHP VE.
