no, paraelle is where the camshafts are the same profiles like:

264in\264ex

unparaelle or whatever you wanna call it would be :

264in \ 272ex

goes with the same profile camshafts will give you better semi bottom end\ mid range power.

for instance i am running the gt2871r .86 ar (good for top end flow) so im running the hks 264\264 so it makes up for the turbo being top endish and takes care of the motor so im not laggy, i get VERY good reaponse from that turbo\cam combo

So you are running these on a det head right? I was pretty sure hks didn't make cams for the ve.

yes im running the sr20det but what i was saying more than anything is that the way you pair your cmshafts will help you in reducing ''lag'' depending on the turbo you go with

also, what size ar were you looking to upgrade to with the gt2871r?

Do mean the injector size? I'm not sure, I don't know to much about matching injectors to turbo's. Maybe if there was a list showing turbo hp range and possible injector choice's, that would make mine and perhaps other peoples decisions easier.

no i mean the AR sizes for the gt2871r .64 .84 .86

I haven't done alot of research on AR sizes either, not 100% sure what they mean...I'm assuming air volumn or compression. I'll have to start doing some more reading on that.

yea the ar sizes have to do alot with the spooling of the turbo, the smaller the ar the quicker the spool the larger the AR the more top end flowing the turbo will produce, and obviously the mid range ar .84 gives you somewhat the best of both worlds, the faster spool but also having a larger ar to get soewhat top end\mid range

ok, I gotcha. What does the secondary number mean after "GT" ie. gt28(71)r and gt28(76)r
