Valve replacement
I'm at the part of the rebuild where I'm checking valves and guides, and have a question.
If a valve is replaced with another used factory OEM valve, do the seats need to also be replaced/ recut? I guess in a perfect world they should be to ensure the best seal. But I'm wondering, if its a factory OEM valve with the factory OEM seat, the angles should match barring any damage to either.

Exhaust guides should be replaced, they tend to get leaky rather fast.

The new valve should always subject to lapping into the old valve seat and that should be enough work as long as there is no damage.
