That because the big builds are not daily driven...lol They are either trailer queens or drag cars,or experiments that get taken apart or blown up testing

I am following this thread also because I want to build a 2.2 or 2.3 NA motor,but it has to be a durable,daily driver type build. I put minimum 15-20k on my daily cars every year


To further expand we mudt rememe r when Marsh was chased off here. He took alot of information and took alot of his big builds with him I saw at least three of his engines and they were monsters. one was a daily and dear lord was that a monster. I am sure he sold the car as a daily before he had to leave the country. (he bring the prior owner not Marsh)

That was in the car and he drove it to meets, to drag races, raced it and drove back home with a simple tire swap. I have seen it a bunch of times at different Conventions but the owner moved out of Country and had to sell.

Who here remembers TealVE, and all the heartache he went through with his build? I don't recall the details, but he threw gobs of money at (multiple?) engines, and did he ever get a reliable one in the end?

Poor work on his engine/s (sleeve dropped and I think headgasket leaks) and combined that with his poor attitude lead to terminal failures. He used an account killer program to remove all posts and information related to his information on here but he will be missed. He was cool in person to Richard and I but very different on teh interwebz.

Haven't posted in a while.. I have a simple 88x86 12:5:1 2.1L set up in my nx right now which I just broke in. Gonna swap that in my daily once I finish a few things on the big motor. The 2.1L should be a nice daily /track / strip motor with a good gearbox locked in. Will update when I have more to share

Kyle that car is awesome! Thanks for posting I never saw that. Looks like Miko done most of the motor work which is probably why the car ran so well.
I wonder if Miko has his big setup together, I need to call him.
