@nissansr20nx

Rodney you are not likely to get any good answers to your question from the forum anymore. You are looking for someone who built a n/a VE for road racing that lasted, not something that happens here much anymore. Every built VE that I know of here now was built specifically for drag racing. You would need insight from someone like Mike Kojima or one of the other OG's, and the drama of the forum drove those guys away a long time ago.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help in your quest

OP theres a few running around. Most of the guys that have successful builds dont talk about it much.

Im talking about turn key and lasting...
Drive to work, drive 400 miles if you have to, not interested in building one, I was just wondering if any held up

If it's built & "tuned" right....no reason it won't last. My VE setup is built for drag racing but I'm sure it would make for a crazy daily driver with the boost turned down.

His can do all that as well. It is perfectly turn key and super functional if required to do any aforementioned tasks.

I drive one every day, starts everyday, runs well, does not overheat, great on gas, and tons of fun. The problem with most people is that they cheap out on a lot of things and this leads to failures. I have 15K miles on it now, I drive it to work everyday that it is not raining in the summer. Check my build thread for more info.

Are you coming to the Convention or too far for you?

Not this year. I am back in school full time, and with full time work, wife, and kids I have no time for fun stuff. I would love to make it out one of these years. I have a few things I want to finish up first though.
