Those are good numbers for a stock motor.

Thx....I thought they were respectable #'s for what it is.

I had a p10 with I/H/C and yielded 151whp with the DE. Granted the p10 chassis is hundreds of lb's heavier, but was a slug vs the b14. The VE produces power across the board, VS the DE seemed to be mid/upper power band. In fact, with BC2 cams, I had nothing below 3500 rpm. It was pitaful, could barely even drive on the street with the AC on.

Really? I thought the b14 was comparable to the p10 for weight. How much does the b14 weigh?

2300-2400 lbs. I believe title stated 2350
My base model p10 with no options was low 2700 lbs.
Optioned p10s were almost 3000
The p11 was a heavy beast at 3000+++

Just googled after my post : http://www.sr20forum.com/200sx-se-r/263445-weight-b14-se-r.html

That's interesting. The b13 was 2300 I always thought the b14 was considerably more than the b13. Well, learn something new everyday!

B13 SE-R with A/C, M/T is 2414 pounds as per 1992 Sales Brochure.

B14 SE-R with A/C, M/T is 2536 pounds as per 1995 Sales Brochure.

Still looking for some G20 sales brochures. P10/P11 weights are all over the place when it comes to forum references but I think Brian is on point. Stiffer chassis means extra weight, along with more doors, and other NVH improvements over Sentras. Stiffer chassis allows sitffer spring rates to be ran more easily without discomfort for the driver/guests but if race car, who cares?

B14 is lighter than people think (1998 SE-R chassis)

Big T3 turbo, 16x8 RPF1/215/40 rubber, 11.75"/Wilwood Superlite, half cage, turbo piping, intercooler and full interior, sunroof, power windows and door locks, B15 gearbox but no AC, weighed in at 2587lbs with me in it with about 20lbs of tools and 1/4 tank of gas. Minus me (195lbs), that placed my car at 2382 lbs!

This was done on a SCCA calibrated race scales!

That's a strong stock motor you got there Brian, a lot potential. Making 146 torque SAE dynojet is no joke. You need to start adding more parts. Only problem is it's not in a P10, lol.

Thanks a lot. Seems like a very good engine thus far. Who knows what the miles are with these oversea engines. One day I will pull the VC and check everything out. Can't justify pulling it BC no leaks LOL

I couldn't even remotely begin to do that.....no clue how.
Suggestions??? OBDI wiring and then some little programmer that is wired and stored in the glovebox.
