That can be explained by simply better material or a different thickness being used. How is the color now?

Gold blue and purple. I didn't clean off my dirty hand prints on it after install and those parts turned the psychedelic Blues and purples.

There are a ton of things that can contribute to the sound. Materials thickness tubing size design bend angles etc etc

I dont see why your setup couldnt make 200 though... just hit the afr on the head and post up the VD graphs... 29* timing at 8000rpm is safe enough.

PR guys have shown that their custom triy's made power over the ssac... why wouldnt yours?

virtual dyno is reading 205-209hp pretty consistently (for about 15 runs now.) i know 29degrees of timing is safe, and it actually makes the most power. if i advance to 30-31 @ higher rpm, power drops off significantly and flattens out instead of continuing to climb. afr is 13.2 consistant and im not sure if i have the ability to squeeze any more out of this tune without hitting the rollers and enlisting someone a bit more knowledgeable to tune it.

91 octane crap cali pump gas. the reason i dont think its breaking 200whp is because basically this is the most simple of bolt on motors known to man. its got n1 cams, header, quick street tune, and an 2.25" exhaust. super low cost setup and about as basic as they come. compared to what others are making with far more mods, it seems my numbers are a bit high.

Can you post your timing table? I am curious as to what it looks like. If the power is falling off that much i am a little apprehensive on how good this header is. What are your mods, i cant seem to find this info. If you have N1 cams it should be holding power like your original graph shows.

I'm a little weary of posting these VD results as I feel that it misrepresents what I'm doing and where I'm at... but it seems that this thread has blown up a bit and the info provided is a little obfuscated.

Corrected timing map to kill the higher rpm fall off. afr leaned out a bit and that has been corrected as well. 205ish is what i get every time now under the same conditions.

as for what mods i have, or a build, or even a picture of my car... i dont post these in any sort of detail.

As far as i am concerned then this thread is useless. You are sharing some of your results but nothing about the mods to the motor. No dyno numbers on the old setup or new setup, might as well edit this post down to the pictures of the header. There is no valuable data in this thread.

if you read through this thread, searched, and compared previous data there is. If choose to post what mods are done or not is my choice, if you dont like it well too bad, its not your car i have my reasons and im not obligated to share them with you or anybody else for that matter AND YET I HAVE ALREADY. as far as i'm concerned, posting up the fitment issues and solution was the only real goal anyways. people asked does it make more power and i had clearly stated that I am not equipped to give accurate figures. if you want to know if it makes more power than the ssac, then i suggest you spend the money and buy it, spend the time and money on the dyno and see for yourself. Payu who has done extensive testing has clearly stated this is a copy of one of the PR headers, and has stated the expected gain vs SSAC. If you want more than that, then once again, spend the money and find out for yourself. better yet, maybe i should just delete the information that I have and just let everybody else figure it out for themselves since this thread is useless and install, fitment, belt size, issues, etc have been posted repeatedly in every other forum.

/end rant - figure it out yourself.
