simple solution... get a BIGGER throttle wheel. that will slow your throttle response bro.

BC stage 3 cams and springs are still the realm of "normal" cams and valvetrain. If your head is not massage or you do not have to massage the head and run uprated valvetrain to support the cams, you are within the realm of "normal"...........

Its been discussed that a bigger TB will not hurt performance, get off his back.

OP: The intake manifold will help and the bigger TB should help with throttle response.

What ECU are you running? With the mods you have a good tune will really wake up the motor.

Tips for running a 90mm TB? I'm having a TPS issue
It's got stage 3 cams , 3" exhaust and a killer intake manifold. Yes going to a 3.5" intake tube (long) I already have a 3.5" maf n stack will help but I was looking for any help, or tuning tips or tips for tps with massive tbbtw

Yes you are correct I need to get the head ported. Of course that will help but this has nothing to do with my issue??? Btw the cams have almost .500" of lift and I do have upgraded springs and cam gears.........

Ahh yes finally hehe. This thing cranks at Wot. I'm in it for max power and drag racing scenarios but yes it's a daily driver.

Tune isn't far off, just trying to tweek/ better the low end drivability which is solely related to lower tps voltage because of the bigger plate.

I'm not that dumb, I know with the big plate I might have less power at lower rpm's when not Wot because off the more closed plate (velocity) I'm aware of that

I have the exessive plenum, and @se200's header. The shaft does leak. But I've pretty much tuned around it.

And btw last year before intake and 3" exhaust I'm about 165-170 whp. Virtual dyno'd at like 173whp.

Sorry for the delay. Got so much going on and just got back from vacation. I'm going to start a new thread under Vendors/DougFab with pics! Chime in on what you think or any idea's.

Thanks,
Evan

I have also editied a TPS table that has to do with above fuel cut and set all to "zero". No issues with the fuel cut still. Car is working GREAT

I'm technically using a TPS for an older pathfinder. Should be no different than an actual Q45 TPS???? It is a different part number listed through NAPA, but then again the Q45 T.B. is 85mm or something and the Pathfinder T.B. is probably 60mm. I wonder if the Q45 does read different? nah...... All you would really need in this scenario of running a massive T.B. on a smaller engine is to have a TPS in which its voltage rises very fast in the first 30% or so and slows down by the time its 100% open. I wonder if this exists?
