I pulled 170whp on a bone stock ve at 4500ft elevation on the crappy 2" stock exhaust too. I only had 180-190 psi across the board. *edit* I cannot remember if the motor was warm when I did my testing */edit* I think some of those gauges are a lil optimistic lol.

Elevation has a lil to do with compression also, but My VE numbers were not amazingly high. That motor was straight from Andreas and ran like a champ! also all checks for compression may have had the spark plugs in. Maybe you have to crank the hell out of the motor to get higher numbers. Still, I had better compression and leakdown numbers on my VE than a 03 civic SI. They are 10.5:1 compression I think.

I think the same abaut the gauges, because when the engine arrived i remove the rocket cover, and the engine looks almost new, very very clean. another point to the gauge is: My firend repair his engine (sr20de), he put everything new, and the gauge says about 150 psi.
