Cool thanks for the suggestion! Do you know how much more coolant it actually holds?

Honestly I would run a koyo over all those in a heart beat again. I used one stock fan on the koyo with turbo when I was na and with the 2.4ve. It cooled so well I had to run an under drive pully on the water pump to slow it down so it would reach temps. In temps under 75 the fans never turned on unless the car idled for almost 20 min. When I was daily driving the 2.0 ve in the winter I had to run the higher temp thermostat gspec sells to get the car to stay at 170 degree temps.

On a side note I had the koyo for almost 8 years with zero problems.

The aftermarket radiators hold atleast a half gallon more fluid, give or take a little.

My modified Honda rad. holds about 20 ounces more then the oe unit. I'm not sure what the price is on a koyo or comparable rad. but I got my cheapo Honda rad. for 48$ shipped. Mine is a 2 core so it was cheaper but event the 3 core units are 70$. I'm not sure what it would cost to have the fitting changed, I weld so it was free for me. I'm betting it could be done for under 100$ so it is a cheap option. Plus now I have more room for my 6265 lol.

I'd go koyo over mishimoto. Found a lot of swarf in the mishimoto I got which was quite concerning.

I had a Koyo in my '97 SE-R (sold about 1 year ago) - I didn't notice any change. It was just a DE with a few bolt ons, a DD. But no problems either.

A guy in the NW recorded significantly higher temps on the track with the original style Tsuru grill versus no grill and 91/92 style. It was on the old forum quite awhile ago. He was running a GTiR turbo kit at the time and I forget the coolant setup.

The hottest running SE-R I ever had was the GTiR setup on UK motor. One stock fan and an NX radiator with water wetter and 70/30 coolant/distilled water. No AC. Never overheated in traffic or at the track but saw very few 90 degree days in PNW.

That could possibly be the thread I was referring too.. I just put the 93-94 grille on my car, and if you put them side by side, the 93/94 grille is longer and looks like it hgas more potential flow to it, so I'm just trying something new for now, we'll see if it works.

BTW anyone know where to get a front end BRA for the B13 that's not real expensive? Anyone have a used one for sale? I just want a black one that fits. for a 91-92. I just looked at some prices for new ones line and was like WTF. $149.00 etc.

Get a good oil cooler setup with a thermostat built into it. That will do a good job as you beat on it all over town.
