Kelford Turbo Cams
Has anyone used the Kelford Turbo cams?? If so what is your experience with them? I have a ported VE head on a 54C block GT3071R and I fear the NA VVL cams might have too much overlap
Not many people on this forum run those atm.
I will be running the stock ve cam before installing the 184-T cams. I believe the head has to be shimmed for the cams.
I like my p12 20v cams. I ran them with a 3071r with no issues. From what I have heard back on the 184-t you need to be using a big turbo or don't bother.

N1's are 74deg of overlap.. Way too much for Turbo IMO .. Shimming a VVL is easy... I can do it without even removing the cams... Try the GTiR .. My vid on GTiR shimming the head.. Interesting way of doing it.
I have had customers LOOSE power with Kelford cams.
The overlap doesn't really matter with VE, as long as you have a good turbo manifold and decent exhaust. People say P12 Cams are the better cams for big turbo setups but i have also seen really good results with N1s
My self personally, I am giving 20V intake and n1 exhaust cam setup a go.

Humm Okay I have SR16VEs in there now but also have stock 2.0L VEs as well..
I run the non-N1 SR16ve cams and they are pretty good. They made good power up to 7500 but seem to run out of steam shortly after. They hit very hard when they come on.
