Its the stock ve base map on the nistune. ve maf, ve injectors, ve distrubutor. With ve it runs perfekt, with de ecu it dosent start.

wrong burned bin dont think so, because its from a big tuner. diffrent ecu pinout? Which pins do you mean? Yes I can here the fuel pump, and I have a fuel pressure. I have the stock ve distributor

OP if i was in your shoes, I would be focusing on this

I'm voting for the wrong address file on the daughterboard. The VE bin in Nistune corresponds to a different ECU address file. The bin is actually located in the "unsupported" folder of the rom packs. If you're running a DE ecu, it's a completely different address file and will not run with the stock VE bin. Try loading up the stock DE bin and upload it to the board. If everything is pinned correctly and in proper mechanical order (and assuming you switch to a de maf or correct the VQ maf table to the maf you're using) it should start and run, rich, but it'll run.

Your problem is you should be running nismotronic daughter board and not nistune

Negative.

to be fair, if the base map is the right one on his nistune daughter board, it makes little difference. both are piggybacks, and connect to the engine via the ecu. imo the base maps are heaps easier to source, use amd modify with the nismotronic, and it can switch to hi-cams. that was enough for me

if the map is right, i'd looking at the pins like several other posts have mentioned.

I will let my girlfriend wright it again, maybe her english is a bit better.

I am using an original harness out of a NX2000.
SR20VE distributor and SR20VE maf .
The engine ran about 2 years with a stock SR20VE ecu.
Now I have a SR20DE ecu with nistune daughterboard and the engine does not start anymore.
The SR20DE map has been verified on VE injectors and VE maf. So it is still a SR20DE map. Actually I only want the map to start the engine, later I will tune it on a dyno.
I already tried a standard SR20DE ecu and it did not start.
I also checked both ecus in a different car to see if they still work (they do)
I can hear the fuel pump and the enginge turns as well.
At the moment I think that the spark is missing.

Which pins differ on the DE and VE ecu connecter?

Actually I do not think that it is a wrong map, as it has been tuned by a good SR20DE tuner.

Is there anything I have to general change if I want to switch from a VE to DE ecu?

ok I'll change my bet.
I'll vote for needing to repin the ecu connector.
DE ecu and VE ecus have different pin outs.

Check my post with ecu pinouts and you will get the answer...

Hello,

ok I check the page. I think that I need to change these pins:

106>104 fuel pump
swap 22>31 crank angle sensor
swap 30>40 crank angle sensor
swap 31>22 crank angle sensor
swap 40>30 crank angle sensor

So I have a N2000 harness and I do not think that I have to remove any pins. I only need to remove from p11 harness to p10 harness, is that correct?

Thanks jagy and the other for help
