VE Valve Cover: Plastic to Metal PCV Valve Mod?
Anyone ever mount up one of the regular B13/B14 DE Metal PCV Valves to their valve cover?
Maybe I didn't look well enough but I swear I saw something about this recently.
It seems like it may seal better and last longer than the plastic PCV that comes on the VE/RR valve covers. After checking, it looks like you would just have to drill/tap out the hole on the VE cover to be big enough to thread in the metal PCV. I have a brand new one of each (plastic and metal) so I figure i'd check to see before I get my new-to-me VE cover on.
Any thoughts? Would this even be worth the work?
