What else should i do?
Hello Guys!
Im on the process of installing new parts on my engine and i would like to know how much whp should i expect from this:

My setup is:
-SR20VE
-Aluminum flywheel, Gspec Crank Pulley and Oversized WP pulley.
-3" intake with 3" MAF
-3" Exhaust with dynomax 3" UltraFlow muffler.
-Tunned Nistune ECU with 8000rpm rev limiter

Last time i pulled 180whp with the setup above, and now im installing the following:
-SR20VE 20V header with 3" downpipe.
-SR16VE cams
-Supertech dual valve springs
-Supertech valve seals

My question here is, what else should i do to get more power? my objective is to get to 200whp.

After installing all this i will go to the dyno to get the ECU tunned again.

I don't see N1 cams in your second mod list.

I dont want to go for N1s as i wont be revving over 8000rpm, i dont want to rev that high, 8000rpm is good for me.

get N1 Cams, with some cam gears to keep the newly found power within 8000rpms... qed

I was planinig on porting the stock Throttle body to 64mm and polishing the inside of the intake manifold and the runners... would that help?

For what it's worth, I put G-Spec underdrive crank and water pump pullies on my SR20VE then went to the dyno and they freed up/added less 1/2 of a HP. Now I must add, this was a different dyno at a different location.

On my SR20DE I felt a much bigger difference w/ UR pullies.

These underdrive pullies on the SR20VE motor are basically weight savers and combined with a lightweight (Fidanza etc) flywheel make it rev much easier. Hold your OEM VE crank pulley in one hand and the G-Spec crank pulley in the other and you'll see what I mean. lol

Quick question.. just wondering

Why do you have a VE then? My VE made it's MOST POWER at 7960RPM, 206WHP pre-port/polished head/three angle valve job. If 8000RPM is too high for you and you have a SR20VE motor, and you want to make 200WHP, you may "barking up the wrong tree." N1 cams are pretty much required if you want a NA VE w/ 200WHP, and you're going to have to at least approach 8000RPM to make it.
When I ran my best 1/4 mile time, I shifted at 8300RPM ish from 1st thru 3rd and hit 13.4 with out seats and spare tire/jack/tools. I tried different shift points, but I'd hit 13.7, 14.0, 14.2 etc.

The VE engine was made to make crazy high end peak power. "Crazy" at least relative to it's weaker cousin, the DE. Both great motors, but it sounds like you may have been better off with DET.

Stop giving him advice like this... you dont have to rev to the moon to make nice power.

Ivan: Get CS cam gears as Payu stated, port intake mani + 64mm TB (proven to make at least 5hp, depends how good porting will be). It should make 200whp if tuned right.
