They are the same part numbers as the SR20VE ones.

Alright, so since they are the same part #, I'll leave 'em be and wait for some of you more qualified guys to talk about that stuff if you want.

Back to the original reason for the post though, flipped the coin though and it ended up as heads so as for now the piece is coming out.

My friend lost his engine due to that thing. When we pulled his broken motor apart found half of it in the chain guide.

I think it was likely damaged during a cam install but still... pretty silly way to lose a motor. I say remove it...

Yep, it's gone. Well I saved it but its been removed. Drove around a bit last night and noticed nothing

update: since I have the valve cover off again I'm reinstalling it, just because, well IDK, it was right there.

I took mine off for rocker stoppers, been burnin oil since through my pcv
