bent spark plug
went to change out the spark plugs on my car just because of a misfire i was getting and i found that one of my plugs was actually bent at the tip. what are some possible reasons as to why that would happen ?

Did you just drop them in the wells or did you use a spark plug socket get them down there? Make sure both screws on your throttle plate are still there, could have sucked one in and had it bang around in the cyl. Could also be bad detonation

What's the setup? What plug are you using?

the plug was an ngk iridium, the set up is a stock ve. i dont think its detonation, i have lost a throttle body b4 and it was lodged in the intake valve of that same cylinder but when i put it all back together the plug was not bent, i really don't think i lost an other one because the car idles really low, when i lost the screw the first time the idle went up about a thousand rpm,

I feel the screw got stuck between the piston and the plug tip causing it to bend. If you took the plug out, spot a light in the hole with the piston up, you might see the marks on top of the piston.

Sorry I thought you said you lost another one.
