Yes i know thats why I wanted to know because I have a set of those itb's in my posesesio And just by the looks the looks you know they wont make power like they come they need a lot of porting on the head side!!

I dont have the Dyno sheet with me at the moment. But the final readings at Shawn Church's Dyno was 197@162 Tq. A quick summary.
Wed. Oct 30 went to dyno at Church's after Kojima dropped my car off from his trailer. (thankyou Mike)
Spent the day trying to get the new installed 20V motor started and tuned. After a lot of flames coming out of the Velocity Stacks, we got her started. Still, the sensors, even though they were installed, weren't reading and VVL wasnt kicking in. I got 192@165 Tq that day and was able to drive the car home. On Thursday i was going to come back to the dyno but there was no space available for me so i had to go on Friday. I spend Thursday trying to find alternate Velocity stacks to i can fit an airfilter on teh stacks. No Luck. So i opted to cut the stacks shorter so id have more room. The first stack got caught in the lathe and got a little tweaked.

Mind you, this was the same week as the West Sr20 Convention. SO im thinking my weekend was OVER. After several calls to motorcycle and speedshops, no luck n teh stacks that were local so we had to fix the broken stack ourselves best we could. It was ugly, but it worked.
Then, my fabricator said he didn't have the parts to fab up a plate for my filters...which irritated me more cuz if i had known that, i wouldn't have cut my stacks shorter.
WHen back to Church's dyno to get it tuned. Got VVL working so im expecting better numbers. the final dyno was 197@162Tq with the shorter stacks. The stacks were shortened by 1.3 inches btw. So i gained HP but loss torque. Still, not happy with the results. At 6000rmp, the torque would just DUMP...not sustain, DUMP. So just after VVL kicks in, i lose power after 6K all the way 'til 8K.
The only think i did on the N1 cams were have the cam gears at 5/5 as per Kojima. Otherwise, the motor is Stock. I would either have to Port the ITB's to match the 50mm intake ports of the head or just use the stock plenum and an aftermarket 70mm TB cuz i am out of $$$ and can't spend anymore on the car..not for a long, long time. So ths is where i am at with the car. Hope i can get her where she is supposed to be at soon...

Maybe you should hit up Untitled Document. I think they do throttle body boring and can make it bigger and change out the butterfly's to bigger units to match. They use to do lots of SR20 stuff so shoot the guy a email and see what he says. You already took the gamble using the DE throttle bodies so might as well go all the way now.

Should put the cams back to 0,0 It would have made more power and peaked and held a bit higher I would bet you.

Ive seen VE with N1 cams that make always better midrange with cam gears and at least same peak power.

I can talk for myself for the ITB's since I have a set on my hands first I would have to say that they are way overpriced for how they come these ITB's wont perform correctly without being ported (They were designed for SR20DE and have a DE port configuration) and the adapter plate being ported to match the VE port correctly!!
Then When you say cam gears set @ 5/5 you mean both advanced 5 deg??
If thats the case you will loose power advancing the EX cam I dont see any problem advancing the intake cam!!
I would port the ITB's and the adapter plate correctly and make sure the timing on the cams its set correctly!!
And give them a shot since they should perform better than a stock Intake manifold!!
I honestly think you have another mechanical problem (cam timing related) or vvl was not operating Church's Dyno its known to be a high reading Dyno so I think with the explanation you are giving that you tuned your motor on the low lobe!! Wich makes sense for the numbers you are posting!!!
Anyway back on topic I will open a new thread when I start working on these ITB's with pictures so people will understand the problem better on the ITB's
