It is possible. Had a freak stock cam ve put down 197whp here with a jwt ecu + safc, i/pacesetter header/3inch exhaust anothernput down 190whp i/ssach/e and tune. Whereas I have n1's, 12:5 comp and I'm putting down only 211whp(11whp more), all on pump on the same exact dyno.
Most VE with i/h/e/tune put down around 180-185whp and around 145-150ish ft lbs tq.

This one has a real nice header and a good intake setup.

100% true and it peaked early too. We raced when my car was on sr16 cams making 195whp after I dynoed his car and I could only put 1 car length on him.

Those are some good solid numbers as expected from something different than what everyone has already. I would like to see the outcome of other future mods to this setup. Thumbs up.

No hating here. Just trying to give you a realistic hp expectation, and there's nothing in your setup that I haven't tested or seen on the dyno.

Here's my point. You are running a stock cam, and it's a big choke point for HP. You can have the best high dollar super scavenging header and tricked out intake manifold or even itb, but you won't make any big gains or see the true potential of these mods because of the stock cam. The stock cam has low lift and short duration. You're not going get any major scavenging action from the header because the stock cam doesn't have a lot overlap. The big intake won't do much because the intake valve is still the major road block. The stock intake cam, with its low lift and early closing, does not take advantage of the ram effect.

I don't want to discourage you from sharing. I'm all for people trying things. It would be great if you post the dyno chart.

5speed thanks for the reply your feed back is appreciated. Your last post has a lot more detail as to why you questions the numbers and I see your point. I have been in a few ve cars and this one is hands down the fastest out of limited ppl I have with a ve swap. All stock motor FYI, no fancy guts.

Gio thanks for the reply I questioned the numbers at first myself but your data shows my car is no unicorn.

I will post pics on the graph when I can, I hate having to scan things. Can't do it from my iPad. Thanks guys.

In the end we allll know dynos read differently. Trap speeds are the best real indicator along w accurate weight. Good job, don't take any of this as negative.

If people arnt doubtful or skeptical, you arent doing it right!
