Sr22ve-t problem please help
Just checked valve clearance, its not ok, we measure 0,35-40 on cold engine, can this be the misfire problem cause? I dont think so but i am asking here because we dont have more ideas, also will do compression test tomorrow, but its new engine ... And i dont think this is the reason too... Waiting for some expert opinion

Sr22ve-t problem please help
Why to gap the plugs smaller, how small? If somebody can move it to turbo its ok for me ... Car is s14a 200sx, ecu is standalone link. Its misfiring at 6k rpm no matter what ignition, what plugs and what timing we use, and no matter hi or lo lobe ... All events come on same place ... 6k rpm

How old is the fuel in the tank? If the car has been sitting for a long time and the fuel it old it could cause this problem.

I would say dizzy or cas but you said you changed this?

Possible wiring issue?

I don't think so, but maybe faulty knock sensor?

Looks like a problem related to ignition.
If run sequential injection and ignition you need a crank and cam signal.
36-1 usually works well as crank trigger.
What are you using as cam sensor?stock cas?stock disc?

Sr22ve-t problem please help
Knock sensor is not important, lunk eku is used, we can run no knock if we want, 60-2 wheel trigger tried, with no success, stock cas and disk also tried with no success, i can try autronic trigger wheel for the stock cas, but i dont think we will solve it as link has pnp ecu for the sr20, so it should read stock cas ... Stucked on this, compression test pending, for now only valve clearance is not tight enough, but i dont think this can cause misfires

misadjusted valves can cause high rpm misfires. its essentially like a slightly bent valve as it is not fully seating.
