Fuel regulator / dampener problem
All the while i thought i have 2 fuel reg. but how will i know if the dampener and the fuel reg is working?

Here's what happen, when i tried to pulled out the fuel rail assembly to see the spitting of the gasoline from the injectors when i crank it, none of the injectors are functioning. Then i tried to pull out the dampener from the rail with the hose still attached, but still no gasoline comming out. But when i detached the dampener from the hose that attched to the rail, then the presurre was released and gasoline burst out. Am i correct that the dampener is not functioning since it doesnt released the pressure?

Then i tried to replaced it with a different dampener, then put back everything, then when i crank it, all injectors are now spitting.

Now, how can i know that that the fuel regulator is functioning?

you answered your own question, only way to test is with a pressure tester inline or swapping parts with known good parts.

After one VE swap, it happened to me. Injs were not spraying. We just changes complete fuel rail but i believe problem was in FPR or dampener.

How much was the Fuel Pressure Dampener?

got the same issue, got fuel pressure after the fuel filter, no fuel coming out of the return line/fpr, very dry.

Is the dampener really even necessary? Sounds like a recipe for dangerously lean mixtures.

finally had time to pull the entire fuel rail today, it was full of fuel all the way from feed line to the FPD, and from FPD all the way to the rail and injectors, soon as i pulled the FPR out of the rail, fuel spilled out.

no fuel coming out of the FPR

got a surplus used japan fpr from another ve and installed it, still no fuel from fpr leading to return line, another bad FPR or

something else?

using an infiniti G37 fuel pump, new filter, oem VE all the way from injectors to fpr

no fuel comes out of the fpr line leading to return line.

i can hear the pump prime strong, fuel line from filter leading to rail has strong pressure

will try to find another surplus fpr

been searching similar issues since last week
