I don't have specific instructions on doing it but its not that hard. I get them made at local muffler shop.

Ill see if when I get my new one made Ill take a few pics for you guys and maybe help who ever has the tools to make you one.

An avarage $ on buying the header plus ve flange and getting it redone will cost around $500-$600 range

Its still a great price for the performance and great looking and working header. Plus its been really proven to work on many cars here.

yep, hope i didn't come across the wrong way ( i'm on your side with all this ). this is such a cheap yet good option to anything else out there, its not funny.

it dawned on me that once the header manifold flange is off, and as the primarys aren't welded to the secondary's, that it may be possible to then make a "mirror image" of the way the honda headers are now, or go 3,1,4,2 (pipe's from lhs) or something like that, which "should " fit really well. is that what you done?

Check out his ride in the road racing section...N1s, SR16 pistons, Supertech springs & retainers, Xcessive P11 intake plenum w/Q45 throttle body, Haltech engine management. Really potent setup for what he has in it.

Yes that is it! The engine is very healthy giving 320 psi of compression on every cylinder.

I have oem cam gears too which I have not played with them. But I will test that on my B14 soon.

Wondering why you went with a 4-2-1 for a road race car (I think you road race) instead of a 4-1?? (might be limited my cross-chassis fitment issue, or just chasing the big tubes). I'd think something like the Vibrant 4-1 would be more beneficial for *most* of your driving. I'm running a RMF Narrow (real - not a copy) on my 2L wagon (serious build).

There are copies of the RMF Narrow out there. I have the suspicion that the Narrow (good luck getting a real one fabbed by RMF) copies out there will outperform your modded big tube header in the places you spend most of your RPMs in a given race.

If you're interested in testing one - I have a Narrow copy that I can send you - feel free to hack it up and test fitment (I'm more interested in b13 fitment, not b14).

We have tested a few 4-1 vs the tri-y with no gain in whp.

In "El Cenizo" there have been all type of testing and only benefit with the 4-1 and megaphone was weight reduction. No whp gain.

Thanks for the info 1 more q -- when you say no WHP/TQ gain - what are you referring to? No whp/tq improvement over what header?

If someone "capable" wants to test a Narrow copy let me know. Will be upwards of a month or so before my chassis will be ready for any testing.
