At that point I just wiggled and turned the grommet till it popped off of the hold it has on the inside of the VC. It just takes some patience and a few attempts. I also swapped my grommets with the VC installed on the cylinder head. A little bit of oil helps with re-installing the grommet.

sounds exactly like what I did,but when it tore,I just put it all back together so it could go back on the car.

I went to Advance today,looked up a Honda accord(F22) and it called out for a "Help" kit with assorted sizes,but it was 10.99.
We will see if any fit,I will report back.

It can be accomplished with a pair of needle-nose pliers, though success depends on the condition of the grommet. If it is old, it may crack or tear during removal.

The S14/S15 RWD SR grommet is also the same:

The OEM grommet for the pcv valve you can get from the dealer or gspec but that takes a few days and I needed it during the weekend, which was also a holiday weekend.
A little bit of searching yielded me very few results with long threads about the grommet, despite the same grommet being used on everything from 240s to Maximas and Altimas, but hardly any part numbers or other information.

Oreilly or autozone in the grommet section it's "Help" part number 42058.

Autozone had to special order it oreilly stocks them regularly, it's also marketed as a toyota pcv valve grommet

Had to do this a little while ago
