different mufflers between 2.5 DE vs 3.0 VE ? My VE-T is way louder than DE-T w/ Thermal R&D setup. both 3.0" same exhaust on both setups. When I was NA VE I was higher in tone, which could be considered louder....open header = lmao loud, side exhaust was bad enough on the DE-T; never tried the side exhaust on VE-T.

I run a 3" exhaust no res no cat w a vibrant stealth muffler it's not flashy there not that much and I love how my car sounds

Majority of people here run straight exhaust tips - if you round the tip down slightly so the exhaust hits the ground the noise can be reduced more than you might think without hindering performance.

i run a 20 something inch body magnaflow glass pack and a 18" body magnaflow muffler.. you gotta go center on the inlet outlet or there maybe issues..
