I tuned the car on Saturday We still not sure what were the problem with the motor but I suspect that one of the issues its that the motor its knock limited with his new combination and also I thing the new angle of the TB on the plenum and the radical bends on the intake piping were hurting the air flow @ high rpm since the motor was making 165ft/lb @ 5500 but the motor didnt wanted to make more power after 7600 just a straight line to 8600 so there its a restriction on the intake side!!
I thought the rise in torque was really promising. As others mentioned, a less turbulent and straighter intake path might be a solution to the higher rpm power loss.
I have this plenum also, and will be testing on regular SR20VE runners with a bottom mounted Q45 throttle body in the new year.
