What's the deal with the IACV delete, how do you get around that?

Yup iacv deleted and running a simple standalone system.

Very very nice. How much has it made on that stock header manifold?

What are the benefits of doing that?

No idea. Waiting on my header before it gets a tune. Will post results soon as they're in.

None really, just less clutter I guess.

And how does the standalone system works then? Considering buying an intake manifold without the IACV cutout myself.

Well I just crack the throttle a touch and tune the fuel and timing to get it to idle where I want.

For cold start it uses a compensation table that adds extra fuel depending on the water temp.

Probably not ideal for a daily but works fine for me. I always wait for the engine to warm up a little before I drive off.

I got the same setup as above I felted the iacv and adjusted the idle screw and tuned accordingly haven't had any issues..
