10-4 and instead of getting thst final drive for the trans, wouldn't the Spec-V trans do the job?

the b13/b14 box with the 4.7 is a good amount shorter than the 6sp and lighter... the added strength of the 6sp isn't really needed even in the big-boy NA setups

I have a NA VE and dyno was 206hp @7920rpm@ 111mph.

Well, before the head gAsket went

Get the Mustang and enjoy the TQ and rwd. You will no doubt spend less money to make power because they have a HUGE aftermarket. I just duno if you should take that car into corners without some mods to the suspension tho.

How about a 240sx with DET swap? There you go, RWD.

Is this going to be a daily driver? Just something to go out and play with? Street races, drag strip?

There is a good argument to be had for either of these cars depending on exactly what your plans are. Getting a notched fox to go 12s is cheap and easy, they can also be made to handle very well but that will take some $. The VE'd b-chassis (especially the b13) will start with a handling advantage and get near twice the mpg but you'll have to be smart with your mods and $ to get 12's on a budget.

I currently have a high-strung NA VE b13, a cammed p10 DD, a VE'd p10 that is getting boosted right now and an s13... all are fun in their own way but a fox body is still very high on my "next project list." My plans are different than most though, start with suspension and brakes, thunderbird SC IRS w/3.73, then high comp, cammed 281 4v, 6sp and thats about it.

Edit: the big drawback to the fox body is you lose the element of surprise... most people don't expect sentras to be quick

U plan on using it as my dd and occasional track runs. Maybe even a couple road races and the mpg part is what's making it a hard choice. Plus I can't seem to find a decent priced b13 or 14 that at least has a decent body. Seems like prices on fwd sr's have went up. I remember one of the cleanest b13's I've seen boosted with a t28 go for like $3k and I'm trying to remember whos it was but it was orangeish or red and was in Oregon. Now I see cars not even as nice going for higher than that...... maybe because it's tax time

And for 240's, they are burned out around here, kinda like how Hondas are.

B13, stock motor, t25, 740cc injectors and pump, slicks and clutch = deep 12's.

VE? N1's, Header(Marsh header whenever it comes out!!), 3in exhaust, clutch and slicks and a badass tuner. Low 13 high 12's.
