Pin 104 and 106
Hello everybody,

I have a sr20ve with sr20ve ecu and a sr20de loom. On one of my charts I can see that I swap pin 104 to pin 106 and 106 to 104. It this correct? And which pin is for the fuel pump and which for the exhaust solenod?

Thanks for help

what car are you putting this in?
I did not have to wire in the fuel pump it was plug and play..it started right up.
pin 102 is intake
pin 106 is exhaust...this pin was empty (On my B13 OBD1) so i made a pin and wire for it..

Hello,

I have a nx2000. My vvl works fine, but the ground I have from pin 36 (its wrong) but it works. Yesterday I fixed it and I have pin 102 and ping 106 for the vvl and pin 107 for ground... now it doesent work again. Is pin 102 and pin 106 a 12v wire or a ground wire? vvl is start with 12v or with ground?

pin 102=(intake cam) & 106=(exhast cam)these are grounds -the grounds is what activates the vvl.
Take one wire from each solenoid, they go together directly to the battery.
the color of the wire does not matter as long as you take one from the each solenoidand match it to the right pin.
the vvl will activate at around 6100-6200 RPM

Hello klassickrican,

at first thanks for your help. My vvl is running again... so I have 2 questions:

1. I put a led in the exhaust solenoid, I hoped that it shined if vvl is activated, but the problem... it glow just for not even a second when I remove the rpms. Ground I take from the exhaust wire and 12v from the battery. Is this correct for if I have take a mistake?
2. My engine runs since last year, I wondering why it is so slow. Yesterday I see that I have pin 102 and pin 106 interchanged. Can this be my performance problem?

thanks from germany

I also did not like the way mine performed in stock form.so I disconnected it from the ecu and installed a Msd switch window part # 6869(vtec controller).to activate the vvl at any rpm I choose..I have both solenoids activating at the same time at 5100RPM and it feelz much more powerful.

I know... thats the next step, first I want that it run fine. In the next time I want to tune it with a another ecu, msd switch and many more.

Did you solder in the wires from the solenoids to the wires that come out of pin 102/106..make sure the intake cam activates first pin 102.im not sure what did you mean on the last post.

Hello,

yes I did solder the wires but only for the led. The wiring from solenoids to pin 102/106 is the stock wiring from my ve loom. Shortly befor the wiring goes in the ecu I have cut it for a second wiring to have a signal on the lamp.
