will a stock p11 ve head valvetrain have clearance on a stock rwd det?
I'm kinda sketchy about valve clearance when bolting my p11 head onto my rwd det bottom end. I've read some threads where people say as long as I don't upgrade the cams I'm good. Anyway bottom end is completely stock, deck height, pistons, rods, crank. I will be using a cosworth 1.2 MLS gasket. Has anyone had valve contact on a similar setup? I won't be revving the piss out of it so I'm not worried about float. I'm on the fb page too, will link to the thread if anyone has some answers.

you will be perfectly fine esp with a det block, im not sure if n1s would clear but you Might get away with sr16 cams dont quote me on that. but with stock 20ve cams you will be fine

Don't go any larger than SR16 cams or 8,000rpm's to keep it safe. You will be fine.

Yeah I've definitely seen a lot of guys say that anything above stock cams will require reliefs, I just want to make sure the budget build doesn't get trashed . I'm running arp atw, total seal gapless seconds, and acl hx's. This is all goin in a custom d21 longbed truck. I'm just goin to let it run like that till I get cp's and aftmkt. rods. I've got everything else for the conversion. I sold a set of cp's because I have a p12 head as well for my s14 and after reading up realized the p12 cams needed reliefs. Just wasn't sure on the p11-stock det.
