Look what Santa Claus brought me :)
Ok, so in reality it was my g/f, an awesome guy we all know, Greg V, and another good guy here on the forum, nismosigma. As far as go-fast goodies, my '92 SE-R with VE already had N1 cams, ST valve springs, JMR header, 3" exhaust, Marsh ECU, 4.44 final drive gears, custom cold air intake, ACT clutch, short shifter, N60 MAF etc. This setup dynoed at 206whp.

So at this point, I was running out of N/A modifications (I am not comfortable getting into boost at this point and surely not nitrous) so I decided to take some of the last N/A steps and get the G-spec pulley set and light flywheel. I had a Fidanza flywheel in my 98 Sentra SE back years ago and I loved it. It says it weighs 8.5lbs, the stock flywheel is like 18.5lbs I believe. I know there is the intake plenum kit for the VE but its a bit pricey.

No more pulleys to worry about ever again with this car because I already have the G-spec power steering delete kit and no A/C.

I can't wait to start the install on this stuff tomorrow afternoon as long as I'm not too hung over.

I do realize that with the lightened flywheel and light pulleys, the car will be tough to get moving in first for awhile until I get the hang of it. But I love the extra throttle response and how it feels peppier.

Hope Santa was kind to you as welll. Happy New Year!!!!

P.S. One more thing: I have set up a dyno session for next week where I will do several runs to see how much of an increase in HP and/or torque the motor makes, I'd be happy with 4 or 5. But I'll be sure to post the results and charts when it's done.

LOL. You'd love that wouldn't you? j/k

My 200sx is actually running fantastic lately, feels really strong. Just put new NGK plugs in but the crappy clutch cable needs to be adjusted again. You can tell when it does because it gets difficult to shift into first gear from a stop.
