Jamie could you elaborate a bit more on that for me? Im planning to have a ramhorn style manifold made, placing the collector infront of the block running the downpipe under the motor... do they just not work or is there any info I can pass to my fabricator to get the best from it?

Its also true that if the header doesn't fit the car its useless. .. so even if you give up some power to route under the pan, that's just part of the game for a street car. What id do is like my older header. Add a flange after the choke so you can add a staight megaphone for racing and then use the bend going to your exhaust system for street use...
