Bolt on as in cams too?

6.6 puts you faster than 60% of everyday cars out there, granted they can't drive right. 6.6 is in the range of older mustang gts, supercharged gtps, cobalt ss and some older neon srt4s and faster than rsx-s, gts, xrs, spec v's and even stock wrx if they can't drive.

That's good enough for me, tell me your setup storm lol..

I agree s-ertainlyb13, my bolt on nx does 60 in like 8 secs haha

I'm fairly confident that my b13 was high sixes and that was enough to have a lot of fun on the backroads and with other cars. In my experience, no stock all motor 4cyl could touch me except an s2k. With some cars it will be close but I still had the edge. I'd say low 6's is perfect for a daily. 200whp VE and call it a day. Leave the rest up to the suspension.

I'd think a bolt-on nx would do quicker than 8 sec lol. Now that is slow. Like almost GA16 slow. If a car isn't below 8 sec for me, it's almost annoying unless it's a fun chassis in the corners. Anyways, back on topic. Go with Nismotronic. It's more refined and its vvl activation is a plus

I can't remember the last time I talked 0-60 times, lol. From todays standards, mid 6's is quick. Six flat and below is fast, relative to cars as a whole, not specifically the enthusiast scene.

my setup:
sr20ve with ~ 15000 miles
stock sr20ve ecu
stock sr20ve lmm
stainless steel headers
200 cell racing cat
2.5inch mid pipe
k&n filter

Hmmm.... not bad

-Throttle cable adjustment
-Light weight flywheel-
-After market Tach (because the stock cluster sucks donkey balls.)

Hello guys,

can I use the sr20de wiring loom and the sr20ve distributor and sr20ve air-flow meter with a new ecu (nistune or nismotonic)?

nistune-yes,but you will need a base map to be put in it with the changes you've made (ve afm,ve injectors,ve tps etc).mod's to the dizzy (internal resistor removal/).rewire dizzy,iacv,tps,maf.hi-cam switch or greddy mss.

Hello,

thanks for answer and the links.
At the moment it works fine, but its a little bit to slow. On april I have a dyno run to see how many hp I have at stock. After the run I will upgade my engine, but I want it with ve distributor and the ve air flow meter. Because my sr20de harness applicable for this two parts and I think its unnecessary expense to run with a another distributor and afm. But only if it is somehow possible to drive with the ve stuff. Or is it better to drive with de sr20de stuff? Because I am not in the mood to take to whole cable harness apart.

I am not unteachable but just a little insecure and prefer to ask again
Thanks
benjamin

Like i told to you while ago... use stock DE harness, DE dizzy (or wire up the VE one), use whatever MAF you want with realtime ECU (NEMU, Nistune,...).

Hello jagy,

I know that you told it. I just wanted to confirm once again that I can use a ve dizzy and ve maf when I usw a nistune. Thats make me happy... Do I need to change anything on the wiring harness, if I change the sr20ve ecu to a sr20de ecu with nistune board? Or can I use it at the current cabling?
