You know you would expect 60-80 more WHP (and 10-20more tq) to make a bigger difference, but nope. I think the P11 with 200ish whp was slower then stock civic SI's with 200bhp. Gearing!!!!!!!!!!!!

VVL activation point with those mods should be about 5000rpms I believe. You might want to consider a 3" exhaust instead of 2.5"

Hello guys,

today I talk to the men with the dyno and laptop. Who call him in the staates? He say I have one problem with the NismoTronic, because nobody in germany can adjust it for me. He say it is better if I tune with nistune I need more rpm and a lower cam switch right? This is my main problem right? A friend call me that a guy from greens can do this with the ve ecu, is it true? He say "Send it to Bill Nakos from Powerland in Greece and let him mod your VE ECU... "

Another question... can tell me anyone with what a voltage run the stock air flow mas? maybe is it broken?

You wont get as fine tunability with Nistune, plus Nistune can't activate cams. VE ECU is also pointless, no tunability at all.

I can help you with your NismoTronic tune, send me a private message with your email address, I can get you a fairly basic tune with cam activation as you please.

yes powerland can modify a ve Ecu, but not with nistune, its with a Japanese daughterboard that has limited functions and can only tune/run on the knock maps, not a good idea IMO.

as for your tuner saying he can't tune with nismotronic well he can't be that good then, as its the same tables you adjust with any other tuning software, I think you need to find a better tuner imo

....phone....

Ok thanks for your help. Guess I will try to find a tuner who can tune with NismoTronic and see what will happen

i recommend the Nismotronic NEMU ecu @riverna ...
we tuned my cars air fuel last night with a wideband...connected the existing vvl wires to the egr output pin 105 on the ecu..

car revved to 9k so strong....vll kicked in... my tuner is new to the Nismotronic too but he convinced himself because he was impressed with the Nemu

now he is getting one for himself so he could learn the software

This may be true, but the nistune will do everything that he needs besides cam activation. I am a big believer in running whatever ecu your tuner is used to and recommends.

Even if it is not the best ecu with all the bells and whistles if the tuner can put a good tune in it thats all that matter imo

All you really need is to understand how Nissan ECU's work, then what software you use wont matter. If someone knows how to tune with Nistune, then they will know how to similar tables with NismoTronic, or TunerPro (for Calum's). The tuner is just being lazy that's all.
Now if we were talking about Honda tuner, then I would completely understand, everything is different.

In this case, NismoTronic lets you tune everything Nistune lets you tune, in a fairly similar fashion too. It's just NismoTronic has a ton more tuning options, which can be intimidating, but if you ignore them (like they are not there), you will get the same results as with Nistune (or Calum ecu).

Although I agree I wouldn't call the tuner lazy. He prob has just only tuned with nistune in the past and is a little skeptic of something new that he is unfamiliar with.

Rather than the OP trying to find a new tuner, he should have a chat to the one he has as I doubt there are many people in germany that have heard of nistmotronic
