I currently have a 2.0 with sr16 pistons with n1 cams. Im running bkr5e, no pinging on 93 octane with ac on in 90degree weather.

^ that coincides with my findings so far. So I should be good to go. U have the same motor but I have smaller cams. Only sr16 non n1's for me right now.

Only thing is my sr16 pistons are skimmed 1mm off the top.

It all depends on the compression. Higher compression = more complete burn (more fuel gets burned up) = more heat. Same applies to Turbo, which is essentially makes the motor have a variable compression (Forced Compression), same applies to NOS too.

4554 is r5671a-8


Make sure they are resistor plugs, less electrical interference

Those are racing plugs. No resistor.

So heat range 7 would be good for a 12:1 compression motor then?
