gio is on the money. Neon intake made by INDY. I came accross that pic but it was listed as a mercedes intake. I searched for two days before finding it's origins.

The design reminds me a lot of Jamie's ITB's. And as a bonus it has the stacks built in.

The n/a neon guys don't like it. (although so many of them run it). They claim it only makes power up top and looses lots of midrange and low down power. Runners too big and too short they say. Then again, their motors are only putting down 140-150whp and 7k rpm is considered "high" to them. The boosted guys love the intake. It looks like there's room to port too.

But you guys over there have a better chance of getting your hands on one and also checking the port spacing etc. The neon's are virtually non existant in the modification game in my country.
It's a $500 intake, so I'm not prepared to ship one "just in case" in matches up.

500usd for that intake + work, testing.... not worth. Just build yourself own intake money. It will be cheaper and better.

I can probably source some k20 manifold for cheap to try it. Will see. Thanks for idea.

EDIT: Just made a deal on local EP3 TypeR PRB manifold for 75usd. I will try to make measurements vs. stock manifold and gasket.

Yea they're cheap, it will take some work but the center two runners are almost perfect and the port shape is very close!

You have no idea how tempted I was to buy an RBC for 200$ locally and have a VE flange welded up. Never had a gasket to see if the ports match up. My buddy Mark made 280ish on his 12.5:1 K24 with the usual bolt ons and cams with an RBC.

I figured if we flipped it up side down it would have the proper curve to clear the firewall and TB facing in the usual spot. I would be really curious to see how it would do. I know they say a ported RBC flows just under and AFI bottom mount.

5speed , i spoke to kinsler about this years ago when they had this manifold on the 4g63, have you spoken to them about it?

I never called them and had no idea they made one for the 4g63. The plenum was originally a colaboration between Kinsler and Blueprint ( K20a specialist). I like the modular design of the plenum where you can add or subtract the plenum volume and also the option to run additional injectors for standoff/shower fuel injection.
