It's a 92.. so I assume it's a cable..

I have NO idea why the speedometer stoped working.

Could it be a coincidence? Did I disconnect something by accident?

I never had a single problem with the speedometer since I got this car (back in the spring) and now suddenly after this BS it stops working. I guess I may have to pull the gauge cluster out again (I hate doing that in the B13's) and see whats up

The cable broke or came out from behind the cluster.

I'm not sure, I have yet to check on that. Its possible it broke since fixing the throttle cable I didn't touch the gauge cluster.

happened to me in my old 91 nx....the spot weld or rivot holding the pedal to the floor/firewall had broken or rusted out......did this while driving to work one day....had to gas-it by hand to get there.....had to drill it out and put my own nut and bolt thru it or sum shit

my pedal would bend left and right with my foot....

Ok I just checked and it appears the speedo cable is firmly attached to the tranny but it is loose at the firewall, giving about 2 inches of slack either way if you push it in or pull it out. So perhaps it is disconnected behind the cluster. From what I remember the 91-92 cluster is much easier to remove when the speedometer is disconnected (which in an odd way helps me out with my own problem)
