Intakes are 34mm, so you are a smidge off. The ex valves are 29mm-29.15mm compared to a DE/T that is 30mm, that is what what I was meaning in my above post. I was pointing that out for you since you were having trouble on backpressure, you need bigger ex valves for less backpressure. This will also help you manage heat better...The VE head was made for all motor so they put a smaller ex valve whilst the DE/T have bigger ex valves since it is a turbo motor.

I just wanted to reiterate if I have not yet that all this work or knowledge I have gathered was possible through Turbofreak and help from some others. Being able to materialize what he has thought to be best could of not happened without his experience on the VE head. My porter has gone lengths with me and he himself has a long road of patience. To let everyone know how much thought and work has gone into this, it will be a year next month since I started this VE head. There were alot of bumps and there are still but I can comfortably say we know what needs to be done with the VE head to make it a competitive head in the SCC market.

Thanks for the views and I really wanted to share what this VE head can do, not many people outside much less Nissan goers themselves are aware what this head can do. Hopefully this has brought a fire to rekindle and I hope to set some nice numbers/records with this head.

well i can say that this is appreciated, as i have some grasp of how complicated and time consuming and also EXPENSIVE it can be!

I wish you the best. I have my stock cams that I have thought of giving to Charles to work me some bad ass turbo cams. Like 12.5mm lift or so and 260 duration with around 20 or so degrees of overlap. Something that will work well with the log mani without reversion.

It has crossed my mind.
