Header for VE
Ive been away for a while, just started getting back into my car. About to replace 5th gear and rip the engine out do some cleaning, grounds and electrical and noticed that yet again the crappy SSAC header was defeated within 2 years thanks to the mighty Ohio road salt and snow.

The only option for headers I know of is the above mentioned waste of money and the ASP ones listed on gspec for 900. Is there any other option? Something a little more affordable? I understand you get what you pay for, I was just curious as to other options.

With all the other things required to get my car back to par there is no way ill be able to drop that kinda cash on a header.

Only other option really is to look out in the classifieds. You will randomly find an ASP budget header or one of the JASMA header's.

I do not know why this didnt click before, my motor mounts are solid. The flex pipe is what keeps dissolving essentially on the downpipe i have, literally about 1 a winter at this rate. Welding solid piece should fix it me thinks. Atleast enough to hold me until i can spend a few more sheckles on my car

Also look into getting some prothane hangers mounts . This will prevent as much flex and save your flex pipe a little. Also like Nismo94 said, check the classifieds. I do believe there is a Mazworx 4-1 in there for sale.
Oh and FRS sells the prothane hangers. I think they sell them in packs of 3 for 25 bucks a piece.

Yeah they are. I got one though. And they seem to be worth it, according to the dyno at least. Made a good amount of HP. But of course it depends how much you want to/can spend
