Just ordered a VE....
Well I bit the bullet and ordered one today. Good bye turbo head aches! I am making sure that I have everything for the swap. Here is the list so far that I have gotten:

Engine
SSAC Header
Window switches
N1 cams

I know there are some things that I need and I am having a brain fart on what else to order. I have some things that will swap over from my turbo set up like my clutch, flywheel, ecu etc. But anything VE specific. Guys have anything to add?

And what has to be modded on the header to make it work?

Re drill the hole larger so the ports line up. Some say you need to some say that they line up. Personally I've never seen a ssac header line up with ve.
New spark plugs
New fuel filter
Vc gasket
Loctite for the tb plate screws,or use the de tb.

I recommend replacing both main seals (front & rear) and while you're at it replace the oil pump o-ring and the obvious gaskets(valve cover gaskets, distributor o-ring, throttle body gasket) and re-seal all the covers and pans. Make sure you order a VE or VET specific exhaust manifold gasket so you can either port match the SSAC header or drill the holes so it will sit right. By having the right gasket you'll know what we're talking about.

VE specific plugs: NGK BKR6E-N-11, stock No. 5724

you can order them from Rock Auto or Greg V. at gspec.

My SSAC fit perfectly, no mods need, no holes to drill out either. Depends on which version you have I guess .

I wouldn't put a crank pulley on a VE, 4cw crank doesn't like it. Especially with a high reving motor like a VE.

3/4 to 5/8 hose adapter?
I know you need that for the B13 anyway.
