the hose converter for going into the firewall, dont forget that, its always that lil thing people overlook and forget.

Where does the hose connector go, just in line to adapt the hoses sizes? 3/4 to 5/8's correct?

Instead of getting the heater house adapter just buy a brands new hose to avoid future leaks. Go ahead and replace as many coolant passages hoses under the intake manifold on the ve as possible. I believe I'm leaking from that area myself.. The hose thread is a sticky here in the ve section with a part number available
