Why the hell are we trying to avoid OEM wires exactly?!

I ran OEM and Ultra wires on my 11 sec Nitrous car. Have been using Ultra wires from back in 1994, Thanks to Mark Forbs at BRM who would get them from a US distributor.

I have tried and seen wires come and go and Ultra Wires and OEM wires have always been on the top of the list.

I have spoken personally to MSD and Jacobs and they both admitted their wires were not beter than OEM wires.

NGK wires are OK but they are poorly made and fall apart or break when pulling them off the spark plug.

You come to FL and you will see what the big boys run around here in the big HP cars, ULTRA WIRES and if you cant get then OEM wires. Everything else is show.

Believe it or not a lot of those wires are made by the same company just reboxed. Almost gauranteed if it says taiwan or china it's made from the same factory as the others.

nae i say the nae the world is flat and if you travel to far in any direction you will surely fall off the edge.

just because it is generally agreed that oem wires are sufficient does not mean that we can't have an educated comparison of any other options, personally i use NGK wires because they are also sufficient for my needs and they are a bit shorter so they don't interfere with my spark plug wire cover, which keeps me fashionable (on my de, not my ve).
