How to distinguish the sr16ve trans..??
Hey Guys, i've been looking for one for some time now, but i just want to know how to distinguish an actual sr16ve trans from any other.

I know the the older model trans are cable driven and they had some newer that were hydraulic. Also the cooling fins it has on it. and as far as the LSD go, all have a pin going through the middle were the axle shafts go. I think because the Viscous type LSDs do have pins and Helical type LSDs don't which our Nissans have Viscous type LSDs, correct me if i'm wrong?

Any other way to distinguish the sr16ve trans?? Serial numbers, stamps, or anything???

SR16VE will have the fins, VLSD, 4.444 final drive, Cable clutch for the non N1 and electronic speedo drive.
No serial numbers or stamps!!!
