Air Intake Temp Resistor Help!!
Sooo I removed my intake temp sensor and jumped a 47ohm .5 watt 5% resistance Resistor into my harness to hack a 57 degree Reading. This is the Rec. Resistor and ohms; Why the hell is my intake temp at 347 degrees? Also, is this the reason for the RPM drops while Idle?

what kind of car? oops. i see its a b14
1. for the b14, page ec-14 of the fsm states the iat sensor is not used to control the engine system. it is used only for on-board diagnostics.
2. page ec-98 shows the value @ 68F as 2.1k to 2.9k ohms.
3. try 4.7k ohms. that'll make the ecu think it's really cold outside

hope this helps.
