Where can i find an 82mm crank for the VE
Reading up on the BTCC engines of days gone and also searching the forums i see that those engines used an 82mm crankshaft. Where can i get one of those!!!

Unless you want the crank for the engine to fit in a certain class/size dont bother. You could also run the sr16 crank with a sleeved block to achieve a certain cc

The class limit is 2000cc. Part of why I want to destroke it is so I can run a longer rod. The motor would probably be operating over 7000rpm for the duration of the race and a longer rod would help with piston speed. It would also mean that the N1 camshaft works more effiecntly with the motor.
I am also exploring changing the rocker ratio on the ve head. Has anyone attempted something like that? Maybe we can borrow rockers from a k20 Honda?
