So much quicker throughout the rev range, it was way too lump at idle as well.

Before it would bog at a certain RPM and the power would drop off, wants to keep on pulling now and i can't get the smile off my face

There is no reason to go back to the original dyno, this is how I read his second post and graph.

1) Went to new tuner and made a baseline pass with the old tune and original cam settings (this would be the red line in the second graph).
2) Tuner changed cam settings and re-tuned the car and it produced the blue line in the second graph.

There would be no reason to go back to the original dyno for a comparison, as he base lined the old tune and cam settings on the NEW dyno. Then he had the cam settings changed and the car re-tuned, and this is what produced the results in the second graph.

Definitely looks more like it now! There is no way I would go that drastic with the cam settings on an OEM cam. I would consider anything more than +/- 5 to be getting out of the realm of normal on an un-milled head/block combo.

Spot on mate, hence why i was about confused as to why people were suggesting i go back. I wouldn't go back even if they paid me.

I guess this serves as a warning, do your research before you take your VE in for tuning, don't end up in my boat..

Ah, I didn't get that from his posts. I assumed he went on with a different tune without seeing where the car stood in its previous setup. In that case, nice gains. Car must feel like new.

nice gains on this dyno from your baseline on this dyno. just saying there is no valid comparison to your stock sr20ve cams though because that was a different machine.
i'm VERY surprised your motor survived at the hack shop. you ARE probably better off staying far far away from there!

Whatever the chosen test method, one test type, test increment, or test rate cannot be directly compared to the data derived from a different test regimen. In fact, since every dyno facility is slightly different, results from one dyno facility should not be directly compared against results obtained at a different facility.
